Tasty

This weekend, my dearest treated me again. This time to a new camera. I was getting so fed up at not being able to take good photos with my old camera:

This same photo, with the same light was taken with my old camera:

It doesn't pick up the light nearly as well and doesn't have any of the manual features for adjusting shutter speed, ISO and aperture like my tasty new camera. I was struggling to photograph the items for my store (as you could probably see if you went here to my etsy shop). I'm hoping to take some much nicer pictures that will really show my crocheted and knitted things off properly.

I have a huge "to do" list at the moment, and as so many blogs i read tell me, i have to learn to take one breath, one step at a time. I can't expect to be wonder-woman and be able to do everything all at once.

Sunday evening always brings out anticipation in me. My weekdays are the busiest; a 9 to 5 job, studying and trying to be creative all at once, so this is my toast to a relaxing Sunday night.

Happy weekend friends, i hope you're ready for Monday. xo

  1. Oh, don't tell me it's almost Monday ALREADY...

Enjoy playing with your new camera. It makes such a difference when you don't need a flash even in reasonably low light etc.

You should pop a link to your etsy shop on your sidebar, so that people coming to your blog know that you have a shop, even if you don't mention it in your most recent post.

Take care - oh, and let me know if you do try those mitts. I'd like to know if the pattern makes sense...

  2. Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely sort my links out.

I've just realised that blogger doesn't seem to tell me when i have comments, so i saw your comment when i was looking at the "View Blog" bit on the off-chance. I've come from LiveJournal and i'm finding blogger quite different.

Anyway, thanks for sticking around and having a read :)
I'll definitely take a look at that mitt pattern this week. It's getting pretty cold here now. First frost on the car this morning.
